After pulling the original August 8 launch, ScaryPlay has pointed to a new date. The official Roblox event page — [RELEASE] WONDERLAND — is the authoritative countdown. It opens a launch window starting August 14, 18:00 UTC — that's August 15, 2:00 AM in Beijing, and a different local moment almost everywhere else. Your personalized time is shown below.

The delay, briefly
Wonderland was scheduled to launch August 8, 2026 across Mobile, PC and Console at the same time. Roughly an hour before go-live, the release was pulled.
The reason, per ScaryPlay's Discord announcement: Roblox's moderation system rated the experience 16+. The developers said that clashes with their intent — they built Wonderland for all age groups and don't want it gated behind an age restriction at launch.
Since then, the official Roblox event page has been updated to list August 15, 2026 as the target. We'll track any further movement on the release page and the homepage.
The release animation
ScaryPlay uploaded this lullaby alongside the August event. It opens sweet — a child promised “a much happier place” — and ends on the line that flips it: “We'll be here when you open your eyes.”
How to confirm the date yourself
The only trustworthy countdown is the official Roblox release event page. It updates with the local launch time in your timezone if the developers shift anything.
Watch for copycat "early access" listings selling paid entry — those are scams. ScaryPlay has confirmed there is no paid early access.
