Wonderland events & update history

Wonderland runs on a live event calendar: ScaryPlay posts each update as a Roblox event, and the window on that listing is the clearest signal of when something ships. This page mirrors that feed — the release window, the Big Revamp and the next-up COMING SOON tease — and then adds what the listing never tells you: what actually changed in the game, what it means for your run, and what is still unconfirmed.

How to read this page

The window is not the patch time. Roblox event windows are day-rounded, so an update typically lands somewhere inside the window rather than at its first minute. We quote the window instead of inventing a precise hour we cannot verify.

The listing is quoted, not paraphrased. The “What the official listing says” block is ScaryPlay's own text, unedited, so you can see exactly what was promised. Everything under “what it changed” is our own reading of the live game.

Status is derived, not typed. Live, Coming soon and Ended are calculated from the start and end timestamps on the official event, so a label cannot go stale the way a hand-written one does.

Official event data last synced September 23, 2026 via the Roblox events API. When a window changes, every date on this site changes with it.

NEW LEVELSLESS LUMIN STUFF

What the official listing says

Open the official Roblox event page ↗

What it changed: not live yet — a future levels update

NEW LEVELS (subtitled LESS LUMIN STUFF) is a future event on the official listing: it opens October 2 and runs to October 11, 2026. As of this writing the listing carries no description or patch notes, so the exact contents are unconfirmed.

The title and subtitle imply the direction the Big Revamp started — more structured progression and a further move away from the original lumin-scavenging loop — but that is inference from the wording, not a published feature list. We will not dress it up as fact.

Practical advice: treat the October 2 window the way we treated COMING SOON. Watch the in-game Shop → Codes tab and the ScaryPlay Discord on the day it opens; Wonderland codes have so far landed with updates, not on a standalone calendar.

The live code already tied to this update is MORELEVELSNEXT (300 Gems), active since mid-September 2026 per Destructoid September 12 refresh. Treat it as a pre-event teaser: redeem it in the Shop → Codes tab, and expect it to roll over once the update actually ships.

What it changed: nothing yet — this is a tease

This one is an announcement, not a patch. ScaryPlay has published the window and a single line — “Wonder is currently cooking this one...” — and has not detailed what is inside it. We will not guess at contents: when the update ships and notes appear, this section gets the real list.

What we do know is the trajectory it follows. The Big Revamp that ran a week earlier was the largest systems change since launch — new levels, skilltrees, classes, XP and leaderboards — so this follow-up is landing on a game that just rebuilt its own progression. Expect balance numbers to move again rather than a second total overhaul.

The date has already shifted once: the event originally pointed at September 5 and now runs September 11 – 19. Treat any countdown you find outside the official listing as unreliable, including ours — the API window is the only date we publish.

Practical advice: watch the in-game Shop → Codes tab and the ScaryPlay Discord the day the window opens. Every Wonderland code so far — RELEASE26, then WORMYGOOD — arrived alongside an update rather than on a schedule of its own.

BIG REVAMP! — official Wonderland Roblox event artwork

What the official listing says

New levels replacing lumin scavenging. Skilltrees & Classes. 2 new enemies. XP and leveling. Leaderboards. New cutscenes. Better balancing and bug fixes. UI revamp. All brought by Wonder and Wander. DON'T MISS OUT!!

Open the official Roblox event page ↗

What it changed: the progression overhaul

The update landed at the very end of August and the Roblox event window covers September 1 – 8. It is the biggest structural change Wonderland has had: the original loop — scavenge the glowing green lumens around the park and hand them to Wormy for Tickets — was rebuilt around levelled progression.

The official listing adds four systems at once: new levels (replacing the old lumin-scavenging route), skilltrees and classes, XP and levelling, and leaderboards — plus new cutscenes, a UI revamp and a balancing pass. That is a lot of surface area for a single patch, and it is why players who had memorised launch-week routes found themselves relearning the park.

Two new enemies shipped with it. Community reports describe the Lumin Rodent as mimicking a red lumin but without the sparkle effect, then chasing at speed once grabbed; the Bear is tied to the reworked park exit. Hiding spots (lockers and alcoves) and a revamped exit arrived in the same pass.

Practical advice: treat the first run after the update as a fresh run. Re-check the exit route, re-test what a skilltree point actually buys you, and do not assume launch-week stamina discipline maps one-to-one onto the new levelling curve. Wonder and Wander fronted the announcement — the pair now bookend progression as well as the finale.

[RELEASE] WONDERLANDWonderland is releasing!

Hosted by ScaryPlay

[RELEASE] WONDERLAND — official Wonderland Roblox event artwork

What the official listing says

After over 2 years of development, wonderland will open to the public. Be the first to experience it!

Open the official Roblox event page ↗

What it changed: the park opened

The window opened on August 14 and the park went live on August 15, 2026, so the event page spent launch day doing exactly what it was built for: pointing players at a game that had just become playable.

It was not the first date. Wonderland was scheduled for August 8 across Mobile, PC and Console, and the release was pulled roughly an hour before go-live because Roblox's moderation system rated the experience 16+. ScaryPlay said that clashed with their intent — they built it for all age groups — and the official page moved to August 15 once the restriction was lifted.

Three details from that window still matter today. The launch was simultaneous across Mobile, PC and Console rather than staggered; there has never been paid early access, so anything selling entry is a copycat; and the official Roblox event page remains the authoritative countdown if the developers ever shift a date again.

Catching up after launch? The full delay story is on our release date page, and the mechanics that shipped with 1.0 are documented in What We Know.

Event questions

When is the next Wonderland update?

The official Roblox event listing for COMING SOON runs September 11 – 19, 2026. ScaryPlay has not published patch notes for it yet, so the contents are genuinely unknown. We add them here the moment they land rather than speculating.

What did the Wonderland Big Revamp change?

It replaced the lumen-scavenging loop with levelled progression: new levels, skilltrees and classes, XP and levelling, leaderboards, new cutscenes, a UI revamp and a balancing pass — plus two new enemies, hiding spots and a reworked park exit.

Why did the release event start a day before the game launched?

The event window opened on August 14 and Wonderland went live on August 15, 2026. The original August 8 launch was pulled about an hour before go-live after Roblox's moderation system rated the experience 16+.

Do Wonderland events give free rewards?

We only list a reward once it is confirmed in-game. The documented freebies so far are the active code WORMYGOOD (150 Gems) and the ScaryPlay group rewards (150 Gems plus the Wonder Flashlite and Present Flashlite). Both arrived alongside updates rather than on a fixed calendar.
