Finding puzzle rooms: Map & corridor icon markers

Every level holds at least one puzzle room, with multiple rooms appearing on higher numbered stages and after the first Mole Chase. You can identify puzzle rooms in two ways: (1) Open the Map (purchased from Wander) and look for the glowing puzzle-piece (🧩) symbol, and (2) Watch overhead corridor signage — doors marked with the puzzle-piece icon lead straight into mini-game chambers. Plan your route toward puzzle markers before chasing scattered Lumins.

1. Piano Puzzle

The piano plays a short run of notes and you copy it by pressing the same keys. You cannot activate a key by walking across it — you have to jump onto each one. You need four correct key sequences to clear it. Watch out: enemies and Lumins can walk over the keys and trigger them, throwing off your input. Clear the area before you start.

2. Memory Sequence Puzzle

The marker leads to a Merry-Go-Round, which is only a distraction. Hug the right-hand walls from the entrance to find the first memory game, then check the wall left of the Merry-Go-Round for the second. You must finish both to earn any reward. Each spot can serve a different format: follow-the-sequence, match-the-pairs, odd-one-out, or track-the-shuffled-card.

3. Shape Matching Puzzle

Gather a set number of shapes from the floor and place each one onto the block in the middle of the room. Shapes lie flat on the open ground and inside the purple ball-pit sections — skip the bouncy castles. Watch the train circling the tracks: it cannot kill you, but a hit flings you off course and wastes precious seconds.

4. Teeth Puzzle

Plays like Crocodile Dentist. Stand inside the mouth and press teeth; pressing the wrong one snaps the jaw shut and costs a life. There is no reliable tell for which tooth is safe, so it comes down to luck. One habit helps: if the mouth starts groaning, shift to the side farthest from the tooth that made the sound. The mouth cannot bite twice in a row, so after a bad press you can return and finish it.

5. Levers Puzzle

A simple hunt compared to the lever wall in the first chase. Flip one lever when you enter the room, then work left around the wall. After clearing the wall levers, check the sides of the blocks in the center for a few more. If the timer runs out, the clock stops and the levers reset, so keep a steady pace.

6. Color Gauges Puzzle

Fill the gauges using the machines mounted on the walls. Pipes run from each gauge to its machine, so trace the lines to see which machine feeds which gauge. Turn one machine once, run back to the middle, and read how far a single turn moved the gauge — that tells you the number of turns you need on each one. Overshoot and you can reset a gauge by clicking it from the center.

How a solved puzzle pays out: +Time & High-Tier Lumins

Completing a puzzle delivers a dual reward: (1) The level clock instantly gains valuable extra seconds before deadline panic triggers, and (2) A shiny, high-tier Lumin spawns on the central pedestal. Turning in these rare puzzle Lumins to Wormy at the hub yields significantly higher Ticket payouts, allowing squads to unlock 200-Ticket gates and afford expensive Wonder Shop gear like the Hammer and Minigun much faster.
